Permanent Exhibits

The museum has over 30 rooms of unique displays. At present, the museum has permanent exhibits for the countries of Croatia, the Ukraine, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Polish, Slovakia, Slovenia and Russia. The museum also displays Pope John Paul II articles used on the TWA plane when he traveled on his last three trips to the Unites States. Groups also participating during the Christmas season are Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Serbia, and African-Americans. All the exhibits display artifacts consisting of costumes, books, pictures, toys, jewelry, linens, crystal, hand-carved wooden items, dolls and much more. The exhibits are housed in the Sisters quarters (an addition build on to the Scroggs home in 1925). Original furnishings obtained from the descendants of Margaret Cruise are displayed throughout the 1887 Scroggs Victorian home.

Hall of Immigrants

In October 2005, the Museum's Hall of Immigrants opened. The museum is proud to display pictures and ancestral artifacts from the families that settled in this area in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
