Ukrainian Egg Decorating Class. A pysanka (Ukrainian: писанка, plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, "to write", as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax. Come and learn the old ethnic technique of decorating hollow eggs. Beginning Knitting Class – SOLD OUT!

It's called "Two Sticks and a String". Come and learn casting on/off, basic knit and purl, along with garter stitch, and seed stitch. We will make a basic wash/dish cloth which the pattern can translate into a scarf. Renee McMahon will be sharing numerous beginning patterns and knitting skills.
