Ukrainian Egg Decorating Class. A pysanka (Ukrainian: писанка, plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, “to write”, as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.

Irene Thompson will once again be presenting a class on traditional Ukrainian designs. Your instructor has over 30 years experience in this art form. The class is limited and will begin at noon.  Students much be at least 12 years of age.
